Earls Regency

Kandy,  Kandy

Overview

An oasis of luxury in the peaceful hill country, near the ancient capital of Kandy.  Recent refurbishment has added extra luxury suites and 24hr dining opportunities.  The climate in the hill country is ideal all year round  with long sunny days, minimal humidity, cool nights and negligable rainfall.

The hotel is arranged in two bedroom wings with a linking central area housing the restaurants and public rooms. Within the V shape so formed is an enormous swimming pool with separate children's area. Sun beds in plenty are set around the terraces, with palm trees softening the outlines and providing welcome natural shade.

Laze away your days; visit the Spa to relax with facials, massage by Thai professionals or explore the ayurvedic therapies. When you have been invigorated, test out that swimming pool, visit the gym, hire a bike and see the country or challenge a friend on the tennis court.  You don't have to miss the sun, the courts are flood lit.

The bedrooms are spacious with cool neutral decor, richly polished wooden floors and floor to ceiling windows promising wonderful views of the gardens - all 13 acres - river, pool and verdant countryside.  All have a/c and en suite bathrooms.

Two restaurants offer a wide selection of tastes including classic dishes, light and healthy or Asian fusion.  The new Chameleon Cafe serves light dishes, entrees and tea and coffee round the clock. Should you arrive by car there is ample parking and complimentary accommodation for your driver, so he is available for any sightseeing you may plan during your stay.
