A new luxury hotel built to blend seamlessly into its surrounding parkland and woodlands. The new Mattala International airport brings the unforgettable experience of Yala within comfortable travelling distance to travellers who have only a week on the island of Sri Lanka.

Guests are on the doorstep for the exciting guided safaris beginning with the ‘dawn choirs’ and the most favourite time for spotting the more elusive wildlife. There are 10 rooms which are wheelchair accessible and the adjoining balconies or terrace offer wonderful views.
Dining where and when guests request is a special feature of this hotel- even at ‘bird hides’ or ‘in the pool’!
Mostly arranged in a 3 storey curved terraces, all with balconies or terrace. 98 rooms in total, there is only one family suite with a living area and 18 luxury tented villas for something a bit for ‘quirky’.
The elegant formal dining room has fixed times for meals and offer largely Sri Lankan and Asian inspired meals. Casual, informal meals/ snacks are available from 10am- 11pm in the Living Room bar and Pool bar. These times are largely planned around day safaris.
You may also dine al fresco by the poolside and swim between courses (if you so choose). Or choose The Dunes, sitting amongst the cushions sampling a simple BBQ; in the Tree House, by a Bird hide or in your own bedroom for a romantic “ a deux” delight…… the selection is endless- just like the living in the jungle .
