Kadju House

Our  photos will be available very soon.

This stunning beach house has been designed to blend tropical aesthetics with modern luxury. The sweeping views of ocean and garden are enjoyed from almost every aspect, bedrooms, dining terrace and the enticing infinity pool set at roof top level.

The minimalist, but comfortable, style offers terrace lounging areas with squashy cushions and traditional loungers, an elegant dining terrace with chic table and chairs, a small living room with library and four well appointed bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

When not swimming, sunbathing or relaxing with a book on a sheltered terrace check out the Cinnamon Spa for a rejuvenating massage or ayurvedic treatment. This is particularly stunning after dusk when the bamboo walls are hung with dozens of tiny lights shedding a magical glow.

Affiliated ayurvedic therapists are available and, for guests desiring a fully holistic holiday, local and visiting yoga instructors will work privately or with groups in conjunction with the chef who will provide a "˜detox' menu of organic produce.

Sea breezes temper the noon-day hea,t aided by ceiling fans throughout the villa. Nights and early mornings are comfortably cool ensuring a restful sleep.

This south-east corner of Sri Lanka is still unspoilt by commercialism yet has many interesting historical and entertaining sights in its region from ancient temples to jungle safaris.

With four full time staff to serve and pamper guests this is an idyllic location for a relaxing holiday.

Driver accommodation is available for your stay if you prefer to have your driver guide at your disposal for day trips or early safari park departures.

For complete flexibility with your holiday lifestyle, meals are arranged directly with Anton, the chef, who has experience preparing both Sri Lankan and European meals.

Discuss your menu with Anton, give him a cash float and he will source the freshest ingredients from the garden, the local market or the fishermen on the beach. Better still, accompany him on a trip to see the delicious array of fruit and vegetables on offer and watch him bargain for the biggest lobster, most succulent prawns etc..

Dinner, or lunch, will then be served to you in the gardens, by the pool or formally on the dining terrace, romantically lit by lamps and candles.

Soft drinks and alcohol are available locally.  If you are celebrating, or your tastes run to fine wines and champagne then some advance notice is appreciated.
